PURPOSE:To automatically adjust the effective length of a cable in time of wear in a disc, by installing a fluid filling cylinder in position between the cable connected to a pedal and a clutch control lever, while controlling the interconnection between two chambers of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A fluid filling cylinder 4 is jointly installed in position between a cable 3 being connected to a clutch pedal 1 and a clutch control lever 5. A body 4a of the cylinder 4 is partitioned by a piston 13 whereby two fluid filling chambers 11 and 12 are made up in formation. Both these chambers 11 and 12 are interconnected through via an orifice 14, while opening or closing of the orifice 14 is controlled by a control mechanism M consisting of an annular sponge material 15 and an annular valve disc 16. In time of controlling the clutch pedal 1, since the valve disc 16 closes the orifice 14, clutch operation takes place in a smooth manner. When a clutch disc 9 gets worn, a pressure difference between both chambers 11 and 12 is not produced there so that the valve disc 16 is opened up and thereby fluid is transferred, absorbing the wear, thus the effective length of the cable 3 is automatically adjusted right. |
