PURPOSE:To simplify operation and prevent intrusion of dusts, etc. sent from a cooler by setting a setting device at the max. cooling stage for a certain time after a main switch is turned ON, in an air conditioner which is intermittently operated according to the actual cooling degree and the set cooling degree. CONSTITUTION:When a main switch 4, is turned ON, a timer circuit 25 puts a transistor 26 into conduction, and a variable resistor 17 for setting cooling degree is set at the max. cooling stage. Therefore, one input potential of a voltage comparison circuit 20 lowers, and the actual cooling degree is reduced apparently, and a voltage comparison circuit 25 operates with the standard cooling stage where the operation is similar to that in the max. cooling stage. After the lapse of time set on a timer 25, an electromagnetic clutch 1 is intermittently controlled according to the standard cooling stage set by the variable resistor 17. Therefore, operation is simplified, and intrusion of dusts and bad odor which are sent into a car interior from the cooler is prevented. |
