Annular torsional vibration damper with a soft torque curve

Torsional vibration damper (10) for motor-vehicle clutches, in which an outer twisting part (11) and an inner twisting part (12) can be twisted relative to one another on a common axis (13) of rotation. The inner twisting part (12) is assigned damper chambers (14), which are filled with a hydraulic damping fluid. The damper chambers (14) are divided by elastic rolling-contact elements (17) into two subchambers (38). The rolling-contact elements (17) roll on outer rolling curves (15) and inner rolling curves (16) and alter the volumes of the subchambers (38). The subchambers (38) are connected to one another via restricted communicating passages. The end regions (20, 21) of the inner rolling curve (16) and the end regions (18, 19) of the outer rolling curve (15) are provided with flexible stops (24 and 25 respectively) which, upon contact with the rolling-contact elements (17), have the effect of a progressive rise in the pushing or pulling torques up to the maximum pulling or pushing angles.
