The invention relates to a snap catch for a body, especially a cupboard, provided with an orifice and to be closed and opened by means of an articulated closing plate, which snap catch has a closing part to be attached to the closing plate and having an adjustable slide and a locking part aligned on the inside of the body with the closing part on the closing plate, in the closing position, and intended for the engagement of the slide. So that the snap catch composed of simple parts can also be fastened to thin closing plates, in the closing position, the closing plate being held perfectly on the body of the cupboard, the invention provides a closing part attachable to the closing plate and consisting of a carrier part and of a slide part and a locking part which is equipped with a flange and a sprung thrust bolt and which is fastened to the body.
