The roller mill has a circular milling track (4) and cylindrical rollers (9) as rotors which are arranged on a vertical drive shaft (13). This drive shaft (13) penetrates a hydraulic cylinder (21) and bears in this region a collar (22) which acts as a piston. This collar (22) can be acted on inside the cylinder (21) on both sides with a hydraulic medium. This structure permits the power flux to be closed over a short path so that these rollers can be constructed in a fashion which is economical in terms of material. <IMAGE>
