PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of photo transmission by a method in which, when the inside of a polymerizer is cleaned with an organic solvent, an organic solvent having a specific boiling point is used, and after the cleaning is finished, the organic solvent is removed at a temperature above the boiling point of the solvent and under a specifically reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:A methyl methacrylate polymer is used as a core component. In forming the core component, a high-purity organic solvent of a boiling point of 150 deg.C or lower is circulated in a polymerizer in a completely enclosed system while being passed through a filter, the amount of dust in the organic solvent after passing through the polymerizer is reduced, the organic solvent in the plymerizer is completely removed at a temperature above the boiling point of the organic solvent and under a reduced pressure of 100mm.Hg or less, and then a high-purity methyl methacrylate monomer is charged into the polymerizer and polymerized by a block polymerization method to form a methyl methacrylate polymer. |
