The table vacuum cleaner consists mainly of a housing part, having a handle, for accommodating energy cells, motor, suction fan, circuit and charge display, and of a lockable dust container which can be flanged to the housing part and is sealed off against the housing part by a dust filter. At the front, the dust container has a suction opening, in front of which a joint nozzle can be connected. In order to be able to assign the joint nozzle to the dust container as a captive component, the joint nozzle is mounted swivellably on the dust container and can be moved from its position of use in front of the suction opening of the dust container into a position folded against the dust container.
