PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary screen and noise from appearing at reproduction by switching a video signal and a synchronizing signal to record for an optional time only a synchronizing signal component among video signals thereby allowing to record a black screen in place of the unnecessary screen. CONSTITUTION:A switching device 3 is placed before a video amplifier 4, a signal from a synchronizing signal generator 2 and a video signal 1 are inputted to the switching device 3, and one of the two signals is outputted optionally by changing over this switching device by a switch or the like to be inputted to the video amplifier 4. When a video recording of a desired picture, for example, is finished in video recording, the input to the video amplifier 4 is changed over from the video signal 1 including a video component V and a synchronizing signal S into a synchronizing signal S from a synchronizing signal generator 2 by the operation of the switch. A black screen is reproduced between the required pictures by the operation. Further, a video component eliminating device 13 outputting a synchronizing signal by eliminating the picture component only among the video signals 1 is used in place of the synchronizing signal generator 2. |
