PURPOSE:To obtain a diazo copying material forming an image which disappears with the lapse of time by laminating a precoated layer contg. a reducing agent and an alkali-soluble resin and a photosensitive layer contg. a hydrazone coupler and a metal-free diazo compound as principal components on a support. CONSTITUTION:A precoated layer contg. a reducing agent such as hydroquinone or an oxidizing agent such as hexamine and an alkali-soluble resin such as casein and a photosensitive layer contg. a hydrazone coupler such as n-propylaldehyde-2-pyridylhydrazone and a metal-free diazo compound such as 4-diazo-2,5- dimethoxyphenylmorpholine as principal components are successively laminated on a support such as paper to obtain a diazo copying material forming an image which disappears with the lapse of time. A diazo compound contg. a metal which does not form a complex may be used. When a copied image for preservation is required, the copying material is developed, and nickel chloride or the like is coated on the surface of the resulting image to form a chelate compound with a produced formazan dye. |
