The invention relates to a façade covering fixed to a house or building wall. It comprises an insulating-material element (10) and at least one facing fillet (16) adhesively bonded thereto. For better holding of the insulating-material body and for simpler mounting, several rows of facing fillets (16) are fixed to each insulating-material body, and on the upper and lower narrow-side edges (18, 20) grooves (22, 24) are made, into which U-section rails (80, 90) are inserted. For holding, use is made of a supporting rail (64) which is fixed with a relatively long leg (66) to the house wall and which, at the free end of a supporting web (68), has a T-section shape with a first guide leg (72) and a second guide leg (76). The two guide legs engage in the clear openings of the U-section rails (80, 90). <IMAGE>
