PURPOSE:To reduce a space occupied by a reflector by forming stepwise a reflecting surface of one piece in reflectors for confirming an original, and also making an arranged angle of its adjacent reflector larger than an angle made by the reflecting surface. CONSTITUTION:Plural reflecting surfaces 23 are formed stepwise on the first reflector 21 placed under a platen glass 2. The second reflector 24 is provided under an original confirming glass 11, an angle alpha formed by the reflecting surfaces 23, 25 of these reflectors is set to 90 deg., and its arranged angle, namely, an angle beta formed by a base surface 22 and the reflector 24 is made larger than alpha. The reflected light of an original 10 passes through the reflectors 21, 24, successively, and a set state of the original 10 is confirmed visually from above the confirming glass 11. In this way, since two reflectors 21, 24 are laid and placed, a space occupied by the reflectors 21, 24 is reduced by a portion of difference of its angles. |
