Improved windscreen wiper arrangement with a wiper blade sub-unit consisting of an elongate flexible wiper blade and a hollow elongate housing which surrounds and bears the blade. The housing has an opening out of which the wiper strip of the wiper blade protrudes. The housing also has a channel for the washing fluid. Between the housing and the wiper blade there are outlet openings which extend on both sides of the wiper blade from the channel to the outer surface. All the outlet openings are closed when the wiper blade is stationary. In the case of normal bending-out and/or swivelling or rotation of the wiper blade, only those outlet openings open which are located in each case on the front of the wiper blade (Fig 2). <IMAGE>
