In a cable fitting for a plastic-insulated screened heavy-current cable, a bushing is provided for connection of the cable screen (11) to the metal housing (2) of the fitting, which bushing is formed by two side lugs (5) of the two half shells (4) of the metal housing, and which holds the screen wires (11), which are formed into a conductor cable (12), of the heavy-current cable (10).
