The invention relates to an interface microphone with a microphone system disposed in the vicinity of an acoustic interface. Through the use according to the invention of microphone systems with a directional characteristic, the interface microphone is also imparted with a distinct directional characteristic and can thus be universally used. Specific developments of the interface microphone also allow it to be used for stereophonic recordings.
