The aim is an intelligent electrical vehicle, in which data exchange with a stationary data system automatically occurs between a stationary coil and a coil (22) in the vehicle (11), which latter coil is stretched in the direction of travel according to Figure 1. Reed contacts (23, 24) are arranged in the area within the crown length of the coil (22) and on both sides of the stationary coil, one permanent magnet is located in each case. Depending on the direction of travel, the reed contact located at the front is operated in sequence by the two permanent magnets. If the data exchange has not begun with the second operation, due to a defect etc., the vehicle (11) is stopped.
