In the system, the heating boiler is connected to a closed steam heating system and also to a use hot water system. The heating boiler is constructed as a vacuum heating boiler, the vacuum-steam region of the boiler being connected via a condenser to a drinking water container. A reduction of the boiling point and hence a saving of heating material in the operation of the heating system derive from the vacuum heating boiler. The heating system supplies households and the like with hot tap water and heating heat and especially with distilled drinking water, which in certain cases can be reacted with carbonic acid and cooled. <IMAGE>
