The cable connection, which is intended particularly for bicycle lighting articles, has a contact spring which is constructed as a multiple contact element and whose one end forms a plug contact and is held in an insertion channel of an insulating body with an inner conductor end being clamped in, while a contact piece which is connected to this plug contact via a spring section enables contact to be made with at least one stripped outer conductor end as a consequence of this conductor end being clamped in between a mating surface of the insulating body and a contact surface of the contact piece.
