In a mixing valve in which a valve seat disc and a control disc linearly displaceable and rotatable relative to the latter from outside are encapsulated in a sleeve which is provided with a bottom and flap part and can be removed as a whole from the valve housing, the sleeve has a lateral opening in the region of the displaceable disc. This makes possible a smaller overall size of the sleeve since the discs can be displaced both into the opening and partially through the opening.
