The object of the invention is an application apparatus for liquids, consisting of an application roller and a conveyor system connected to it. The application roller is interchangeably and rotatably mounted on a shaft which is connected to a support pipe. An impregnating appliance is situated beneath the roller, and is connected through a nozzle pipe to the support pipe. The liquid is sprayed out of the nozzles against the roller surface. The splash guard aids the uniform distribution of the liquid and the saturation of the roller. In this manner it is possible to apply the liquid uniformly and without interruption to any desired surfaces.
