Self-aligning cold-forging die unit

A description is given of a self-aligning cold-forging die unit which comprises a moving die part, which has an end projecting from a frame and provided with a cavity, and a housing in which a stationary die part is arranged and in which the projecting end of the moving die part can be taken up. Clearance is provided at least between the moving die part or the housing and its frame and this makes possible displacement of the moving die part or of the housing in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the die unit is closed.
