A wall cabinet, in particular for accommodating a heat counter and fittings unit, consists of a frame made from a plurality of parts, a base and a cover which can be mounted in the frame by means of retaining elements, preferably magnetic locks. The feed and return lines with inserted fittings can be mounted on the base of the wall cabinet by means of clips or the like. The wall cabinet is produced from a sound-damping and fire-retardant material, preferably asbestos cement. According to a preferred embodiment, the wall cabinet contains a partition for subdivision into a first region for accommodating heat-dissipating lines and fittings, as well as into a second region for accommodating electronic components, for example an arithmetic unit. In such a wall cabinet, the electronic part is largely precluded from being subjected to heat, and in addition openings in the cover ensure circulation for the purpose of avoiding overheating of the electronic parts. Such a wall cabinet has extremely good sound-damping properties, and there is no difficulty in wallpapering it, providing it with paint, or cladding it in some other way. |
