PURPOSE:A batchwise mixer is used to combine powder particles with a specific melted fat, effect mixing and cooling to produce dry coated particles of high flowability. CONSTITUTION:A fat which melts at 30-70 deg.C and has 70 or higher fat index at room temperature is used to effect mixing thereof with previously heated powder particles at about 10 deg.C higher than the clouding point of the fat in a batchwise mixer such as Nauter mixer. After being coated uniformly, the powder particles are cooled down to give the objective coated particles. |
