<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the temp. of a digestion tank at a target value and to perform efficiently the treatment by providing a heat accumulating installation having a heat accumulating tank for accumulating the heat from a heat source device, etc., and a heat exchanger which applies the quantity of the heat radiated from the heat accumulating installation to the digestion tank. CONSTITUTION:Org. waste such as night soil, sewage sludge or the like is charged into a digestion tank 1 where an anaerobic treatment is effected. A heat accumulating installation is constituted of a heat accumulating tank 9 which receives the quantity of the heat from a heat source device 3 or other heat source such as a solar heat water heater, waste heat water heater or the like via a pipeline 12 and a valve 13 and accumulates said heat, and a control device 11 which controls the quantity of the accumulated heat. The prescribed quantity of heat is supplied from the device 3 through a pipeline 7 to the tank 1. A heat exchanger 2 receives the quantity of the heat radiated from the installation 4 via a pipeline 6 and supplies said heat to the tank 1 via a pipeline 5.
