PURPOSE:To make it possible to feed a workpiece by feed-screwing while the workpiece is held, by holding the workpiece between a pair of rollers so that the gripper is prevented from being damaged, due to the rotation of the rollers. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 6 disposed in grooves formed in gripper blocks 7, are rotatably supported by shafts 4, 5 which are pierced through plates 4, 5 and attached thereto, and are projected, at its outer periphery, to the opposed surfaces of the blocks 7. A workpiece W is positioned at three points which are determined by the rollers 6 and the top surface 3c of a positioning block 3, and is maintained by a tension spring 9. Accordingly, when the workpiece W held by the gripper 1 is pushed out from the gripper 1 while being rotated, the rollers 6 are rotated in association with the rotation of the workpiece W, thereby the gripping section of the gripper 1 may feed the workpiece W to the associated part side without being damaged. |
