<p>PURPOSE:To enable to operate an induction generator solely even at the place where no AC power source facility is provided by convertning the output of a DC power source via an inverter into AC output for exciting the generator. CONSTITUTION:A drive engine 2 is started by a starter 7 in case of use, the output of a DC power source 4 is supplied through an inverter 3 into an induction generator 1, and the electric output when the generator 1 is driven at the synchronizing speed or higher is supplied to a load 5. The frequency and the terminal voltage of the electric output at this time are the same as the AC output of the inverter 3. When the load 5 varies, the rotating speed of the engine 2 is varied therefor. In this manner, the generator can be operated by the device in the closed self-system without depending upon the exciting current of an external AC power source.</p> |
