PURPOSE:To obtain a wave-breaking shell having a sufficient strength and rigidity by a method in which a free water space having through holes through which sea water flows is formed on the sea side of the inside of a steel plate shell body by placing concrete into the space between two steel plates. CONSTITUTION:Inside steel plates 4 are provided at a given interval on the sea side of a steel plate shell body 1, a large number of through holes 7 through which sea water passes are provided between the outside steel plate 1 and the inside steel plates 4, and a free water space A is formed in the steel plate shell body 1. Concrete 5 is packed into the space between the inside and outside steel plate 4 to form a wall. A concrete slab 11 having a through hole is provided above the free water space A of the shell body 1, a concrete partition wall 9 is provided on the side, and a concrete bottom plate is provided on the bottom. Since the free water space is provided in the steel plate shell, the breaking of waves can be attained. |
