PURPOSE:To set up the level of corona discharge current easily by forming a display part to be actuated in accordance with earth current through a photosensitive body in a corona discharger. CONSTITUTION:At the measurement of corona discharge current, interlocked switches S1, S2 are turned on, a photosensitive drum 3 is rotated, a destaticizing lamp 4 and a corona discharger 5 for electrostatically charge are turned on. When earth current flowing into a reference resistance Rs is increased in accordance with the increase of the volume 18 of a high voltage power supply 17, the output of an impedance converter 23 is increased, and when the output value reaches the threshold of a converter 25, the output of the converter 25 is turned from ''1'' to ''0'' and an LED 15a is turned on. If a volume 18 is fixed at that time, the discharge characteristics of the discharger 5 can be properly set up. A transfer corona discharger 8 and a separation corona discharger 9 (AC discharge) can be also set up to proper discharge characteristics similarly. |
