PURPOSE:To form a medium material for electrophoresis suitable for the operation for determining DNA base arrangement and prevented from the delamination of an electrophoretic medium layer, by adhering the electrophoretic medium layer and a support layer by an adhesive layer containing a polymer having specific repeating units. CONSTITUTION:An electrophoretic medium layer and a support layer comprising polyester are adhered by an adhesive layer containing a polymer having constitutional repeating units represented by formulae I -III (wherein R<11>-R<31> are H or an alkyl group, R<12> is -CH=CH2 or -CH2CH2X, R<22> is -CH=CH2 or -CH2CH2X<2> and Q<1> is -COO or an arylene group). The above mentioned electrophoretic medium layer contains a polyacrylaminde type aqueous gel, wherein an acrylamide type compound and a crosslinking agent are subjected to crosslinking polymerization in the presence of water, and a compound containing a carbamoyl group as a modifier. By adhering both layers by the bove mentioned adhesive layer, the adhesive force of the gel film in a wet state and the support layer can be increased and the gel film not delaminated from the support layer can be formed. |
