PURPOSE:To ensure a high-speed operation of a frequency divider with a simple circuit constitution by applying simultaneously the input signals shorter than the current transfer time of a current flip-flop to two Josephson elements. CONSTITUTION:An input signal line lg is connected in series to two Josephson elements J1 and J2, and therefore the input pulse signals are simultaneously applied to these elements J1 and J2. The input signal Ig which is supplied to the line ls has a pulse width smaller than the current transfer time set when a current flip-flop circuit is actuated. The current IL flowing to the element J1 and the current IR flowing to an inductance L and the element J2 have oscillations with a 1/2 frequency of the input signal pulse Ig. |
