MONITOR FOR GRANULAR SOLID CONVEYANCE TUBE

PURPOSE:To carry out a proper counter measure before a trouble or an accident occurs detecting abnormality of a process early by arranging a light emitter and a light detector sandwiching a conveyance pipeline to convert the flow of a granular solid into a light transmission signal so that the clogging of the pipeline can be discriminated from the state of the signal. CONSTITUTION:A light emitter case 4 is provided at a part of a pipeline of a granular solid conveyance tube 1 in contact with the flow of the granular solid 2 and a light emitter 7 emitting light with the power supply from a power source 5 is arranged in the case while a light detector 8 is provided at a part facing it sandwiching the flow of the granular solid 2. A light detector 9 is arranged in the case to receive light passing through the flow of the granular solid 2 from the light emitter 7. An amplifier 11, a controller 13 and an alarm 15 are provided sequentially from the light detector 9. Thus, faults and accidents can be prevented thereby performing counter measures in a relatively simple and easy manner.
