PURPOSE:To give optimum acoustic reproduction to a listener by setting phase difference at 0 between a woofer and a tweeter at a listening position and therefore obtaining the coincidence between the main maximum direction of the synthetic sound pressure and the listening position. CONSTITUTION:An input signal is branched into two parts when a transmission function H<n>L(P) is represented to be standardized at 1/(1+b1P+b2P<2>+...+P<n>), where (n) shows the order number of an LPF and P shows the standardized complex frequency respectively. One of these two branched signals is applied to the woofer via the LPF3. While the other signal is applied to the tweeter after the signal passed through a correcting delay circuit 8 having delay time tauc of the output signal of a filter 3 is subtracted from the signal passed through a delay circuit 5 having the standardized delay time taun and a delay circuit having delay time tauc. A relation tauL-tauH is secured for the delay time tauc which sets the delay time of an acoustic signal at tauL and tauH. |
