PURPOSE:To decrease the number of cards held for a telephone device of abbreviated dial system using magnetic cards by omitting the common numbers within the magnetic cards. CONSTITUTION:Plural telephone numbers and their corresponding abbreviated codes are recorded on a magnetic card. This card is read by a card reader 1, and a memory 2 records the output of the reader 1. The memory 2 contains an area 2a where the common telephone numbers or numbers having high using number of times are stored and an area 2b where the personal numbers are stored. The magnetic card stores the personal numbers and their abbreviated cords. When this card is used, a key of a key input part 3 is pressed to store the contents of the memory 2 to the area 2b. Then an abbreviated code is supplied from the part 3, and therefore a prescribed telephone number is sent to a circuit from an automatic dialer 4. |
