PURPOSE:To obtain a high-performance magnetic head core which has an excellent magnetic gap and exhibits characteristics extracted from amorphous magnetic material sufficiently by disposing a nonmagnetic pipe between amorphous thin plates in the situation opposed to a winding groove. CONSTITUTION:A couple of nonmagnetic substrates 12 which each have a semicircularly sectioned winding groove 13 are arranged facing each other, the amorphous thin plates 16 and 17 are arranged between them while facing each other, and the nonmagnetic pipe 18 is positioned between them. The nonmagnetic pipe 18 has an enough diameter that the amorphous thin plates 16 and 17 are deformed along the winding grooves 13 and only has strength against the force of pressing at that time. Then, the nonmagnetic substrates 12 and 12 are pressed approaching each other to unite the left and right nonmagnetic substrates 12 and 12 together with the magnetic gap 19 inbetween, and the amorphous thin plates 16 and 17 form a magnetic path along the abutting surface of the nonmagnetic substrates and winding groove. The block obtained as mentioned above is cut lengthwise to a specific thickness, thus completing a magnetic head core B. |
