CONSTITUTION:A reciprocal switching circuit 10 places a switch S1 at the side of a contact 3a in one cycle right after the switching of a reversible thyristor to set an internal integral value IA''', to gate block phase integration IAF, and a switch S2 is placed at the side of a contact 2b to perform setting to a gate block angle thetaK, matching a control phase angle with a gate block phase. The switch S1 is placed at the side of a contact 2a in the next cycle to set the IA''' to an integral value IA' calculated by the reverse phase conversion of a phase angle calculated by theta'=theta-theta0, and the switch S2 is placed at the side of a contact 1b to use an arithmetic result theta for the phase control. Then, the switch S1 is held at the side of the contact 2a continuously, so the value IA''' increases at intervals of the amount of integration corresponding to a one-cycle maximum phase advance angle theta0.
