PURPOSE:To provide an SOCl2/Li battery in which formation of a passive film is prevented and voltage delay is prevented by arranging a film formed by propylene carbonate and methyl cyanoacrylate or ethyl cyanoacrylate on the surface of lithium. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a lithium negative electrode 4 is covered with a gel-like film 9 formed by propylene carbonate and methyl cyanoacrylate or ethyl cyanoacrylate. The film 9 is formed in such a way that in a dry box, lithium is immersed in polycarbonate solution, then it is taken out, and ethyl cyanoacrylate is sprayed on it. For example, a positive current collector 2 comprising Teflon and acetylene black, a separator 3 comprising glass nonwoven fabrics, the lithium negative electrode 4, a negative lead 5 comprising nickel, thionyl chloride 6 containing 1.5M arsine acid lithium tetrachloride, which serves as a positive active material and an electrolyte are accommodated in a positive case 1 comprising SUS 304 to form a battery. |
