PURPOSE:To eliminate troublesome operation of white balance adjustment by rewriting a color temperature correcting signal at reproduction. CONSTITUTION:A level detecting signal of blue and red light detected by sensors 3, 4 is compared respectively by a level comparator 5 and its signal is used as a color temperature correcting signal. A magnetic sheet 13 is turned the same speed as recording at reproduction and a reproducing signal obtained by selecting a switch 11 to the P position is separated by a reproducing system circuit 14, the obtained color temperature correcting signal is applied to a D/A converter 15 and color tone is adjusted. Thus, if the present color tone is not satisfactory, the color tone is adjusted automatically into a preferable color tone by rewriting the color temperature correcting signal.
