PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retarding thermoplastic resin molding in which a flame retardant is uniformly mixed with the molding resin, by mixing a flammable thermoplastic resin with a particulate flame retardant comprising a flame retardant and a thermoplastic resin and melting the mixture by heating, molding the melt and cooling the molding. CONSTITUTION:A flammable thermoplastic resin is mixed with a particulate flame retardant comprising 70-99.5wt% flame retardant and 30-0.5wt% thermoplastic resin. This mixture is molten by heating to disperse the flame retardant uniformly in the flammable thermopolastic resin. This dispersion is molded into a predetermined shape and cooled. Particularly preferred flame retadants include a mixture prepared by mixing a flame retardant of a m.p.>=150 deg.C with a flame retardant of a m.p.<=150 deg.C at a weight ratio of 1:0.1-1:1 and, for example, a mixture prepared by mixing hexabromocyclododecane with 2,2-bis(4-allyloxy- 3,5-dibromophenyl)propane and/or tribromophenyl allyl ether at the above ratio is the most desirable.
