PURPOSE:To melt the snow flowing into an open air intake in order to prevent snow flakes from coming into a cab compartment by connecting the open air intake in front of a roof panel to a blow-out opening that is open to the cab compartment through a duct and moreover providing the open air intake with a heating element. CONSTITUTION:An open air intake 1 is formed in projection in front of a roof panel 7, while an opening part 3 is formed near the upper border of a wind shield glass G. A duct 8 is provided in the space between the roof panel 7 and a roof lining 9 in order to connect the open air intake 1 to a blow-out opening 10 that s open to the cab compartment side. The said opening 10 3 is provided with a heating element 2 consisting of plurality of metal plates 4 with high heat conductivity and an electric heating wire 5, which is connected in series to a car-mounted battery 6, an ignition switch S1 and an operation switch S2 placed in the cab compartment. This contrivance can melt the snow flowing into the open air intake 1. |
