摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an electrically conductive material as a three-component type interlaminar graphite compound consisting of graphite, a metallic fluoride and fluorine and having superior electric conductivity as well as stability to moisture by reacting graphite with a specified metal in a fluorine atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Natural or artificial and flake or powdered graphite is reacted with a transition metal, an alkaline earth metal other than Mg, a IIIA group metal in the periodic table other than Al, or Pb at 0-400 deg.C in a fluorine atmosphere under 0.1- 10atm. for a time enough to increase the weight of the graphite to manufacture a three- component type interlaminar graphite compound consisting of graphite a metallic fluoride and fluorine represented by formula I (where M is a transition metal, an alkaline earth metal other than Mg, a IIIA group metal in the periodic table other than Al, or Pb, (x) is about 1- about 100, (y) is about 0.0001- about 0.15, and z is the valence of M). A mixed stage compound consisting of at least two among the 1st stage - the 8th stage compounds having different values of (x) and (y) in the formula I is suitable for use as a material for electric conduction having stability to moisture and superior electric conductivity.
