PURPOSE:To provide the titled resin compsn. which has improved processability and can be prevented from being discolored by thermal deterioration, by adding an organothiotin compd. and a fatty acid zirconium salt to a halogen-contg. resin. CONSTITUTION:A stabilized halogen-contg. resin compsn. is obtd. by adding an organothiotin compd. (A) having a group of the formula such as dioctyltin bis (isooctyl thioglycolate) and a fatty acid zirconium salt (B) such as zirconium laurate to a halogen-contg. resin such as PVC, polyvinylidene chloride or chlorinated PP. By using compds. A and B in combination, the processability of the halogen-contg. resin can be improved, and the resin can be prevented from being deteriorated by heat and from being discolored under severe processing conditions.
