PURPOSE:To obtain a C-R type DA converter where miniaturization and low cost are attained and which is suitable for MOSLSI by providing a C array type DA converter, an E type DA converter and a capacitive coupling means so as to obtain a desired DA converting characteristic with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:A high-order bit of a digital data input is DA-converted by a C-array type DA converter 31, a low-order bit of the digital data input is DA- converted by an R type DA converter 32, an output point of the R type DA converter 32 and an output point of the C-array type DA converter 31 are coupled 33 by capacitance and a DA converting output is extracted from the output point of the C-array type DA converter 31. Thus, the desired DA converting characteristic with high accuracy is obtained, and also the C-R type DA converter suitable for MOSLSI and capable of miniaturization and low cost is obtained.
