PURPOSE:To dispense with the need to form the bottom of a carrier groove of a V-block into a barrel-shaped one and thereby shorten the time required for machining, by making up a carrier with a layer-form hoop and a band whose top surface is of convex radius form. CONSTITUTION:A band 9 is of belt material made of synthetic resin in type, and a top surface 9b is formed in convex radius form. This band 9 is no matter what it may be endless or joined in type. A multilayer hoop 10 is situated inside a carrier groove 4, and the band 9 is situated beneath the multilayer hoop 10, thus a carrier is made up. With suchlike constitution, each of corner parts 6a and 6b of a support surface 6 of a V-block 1 forcibly presses an underside 9a of the band 9 but at the multilayer hoop 10, there is produced no stress by the support surface 6 and no rubbing at all so that service life of the multilayer hoop 10 can be yet more prolonged than the case in the past. |
