PURPOSE:To realize easy equipping with a chain by burying base wires in the sides of a tire and fitting a chain to the wires through connection metal fittings and further operating a slide shaft provided in an accelerator shaft. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 1 along the axial direction of a tire are formed on its tread face at predetermined intervals covering the whole periphery, while base wires 2 are buried inside both shoulders of the tire. A chain 5 is contained in each groove 1, and both ends of each chain 5 are supported by means of the base wires 2 through connection metal fittings 3. Further, a connection metal fitting 4 of a side wire 16 is fitted on one end of the chain 5, and the inner edge of the side wire 16 is connected to a ring nut 7 provided on a slide shaft 6 which is slidably inserted in an accelerator shaft 10. In snowing, by pushing the shaft 6 outward, the chain 5 is put in a slackening condition through the wire 16 and projected from the groove 1. |
