The invention refers to an arrangement related to furnaces having a grate 1 and scrapers 10 movable lengthwise back and forth above the grate 1 for feeding stoking goods in the direction from a fuel introduction device 3 towards a firing residue removal device. The invention enables the provision of a stoking device for combustible goods related to a furnace grate, enabling an efficient feeding of the stoking goods and at the same time allowing an even combustion of the goods over the entire surface of the grate. The scrapers 10, which are placed at distances from each other, have a goods receiving surface, broadened in the feeding direction, and has air escape openings on their side facing away from the grate. At their front, seen in the direction of operation, the scrapers are provided with feeding portions cooperating with the stoking goods, and at their rear end, they have a surface sloping backwards, whereby at the back-and-forth movement of the scrapers 10, the goods is pressed upwards and along the sloping surface of each respective scraper 10, and further up onto said goods receiving surface, at simultaneous combustion of the goods. <IMAGE> |
