<p>The process consists of impregnating a laminated support composed of layers of synthetic sponge material and one or more pieces of fabric, in a bath using a fixed or moveable scraper, with an emulsion composed basically of cellulose and a compatible resin. - Drying then follows in continuous form through a tunnel or discontinuously in an oven, and hot engraving of the two faces of the prod. by a calender with engraved and heated rolls or by a press.
