PURPOSE:To improve a temperature characteristic, and reproducibility, and period stability in long/short by utilizing a fact that a twist angle displacement in a cylindrical torque detecting shaft is proportional to a torque (measuring torque) applied to it. CONSTITUTION:Flanges 51, 52 are attached to each end part of a torque tube 1, respectively, by a well-known welding method such as TIG welding, electronic beam welding, etc., and the inside of the torque tube 1 becomes a tightly sealed- up state. Insulators 41, 42 consist of mylar or ceramics, etc., and are fixed to electrodes 21, 22 by a means of metallizing or screwing, etc. The electrode can be constituted of one movable electrode and a pair of fixed electrodes, for instance, a movable electrode 3 is formed in the shape of a cross, and four pairs of fixed electrodes are provided against four movable electrodes 3. In this state, when a measuring torque operates, those which are displaced in the same way are connected to each other, by which the connection is executed so that a capacity variation of the whole is shown as the sum of each capacity, and the influence by a floating capacity becomes as small as possible. |
