PURPOSE:To quicken the start of intermittent feed of the pallet by a method wherein a follower sprocket is incorporated into a straight and intermittent feeding shaft and the pallet is attached and detached by an attachment in order to move the device into a constant direction. CONSTITUTION:The straight and intermittent transfer shaft 2 is rotated into the arrow sign direction to transfer the pallet 7 to the right end of the shaft and is stopped there. The follower sprocket 6 and the transfer shaft 2 are not connected in the rotating direction of the shaft, therefore, the sprocket 6 will never be rotated even if the transfer shaft 2 is rotated. The relation between the intermittent and straight transfer shaft 1 and the follower sprocket 5 is the same. A roller chain 4 is engaged with the sprockets 5, 6 and is driven by another sprocket while the pallet 7 is moved from the transfer shaft 2 to the same shaft 1 by pushing a cam follower 8 with the attachment 3 and, then, the roller chain is stopped. When the pallet 7 has finished its movement to the side of the transfer shaft 1, the shaft 1 is rotated into the arrow sign direction and the pallet is sent to the left. |
