PURPOSE:To detect a degree of thermal deterioration by deriving in advance a degree of deterioration of an insulating organization as a function of temperature and time, from a variation of a dynamic visco-elasticity characteristic of an insulating material, and comparing it with a sample from an actual operating electric apparatus, which is extracted from an advancing process of a continuous deterioration. CONSTITUTION:For instance, in case when a variation of a chemical structure quantity (x) due to a thermal deterioration follows a chemical reaction speed theory, when a deterioration time, a frequency factor, a deterioration activated energy, a gas constant, an absolute temperature of deterioration, and a function for showing a reaction mechanism are denoted as (t), A, DELTAE, R, T and g(x), respectively, and the deterioration advances from time ''0'' to (t), and the chemical structure quantity is varied from x0 to (x), an expression is formed. In a deterioration area in which the function g(x) and the frequency factor A are constant, even if the deterioration is generated under various temperature conditions, if a conversion time theta is equal, a variation of the chemical structure quantity (x) also becomes equal. For instance, when a dynamic visco-elasticity characteristic P is determined clearly by the chemical structure quantity, a degree of thermal deterioration theta is derived from a variation of the dynamic visco-elasticity characteristic P. |
