PURPOSE:To phosphorylate OH and to obtain a phosphoric acid compound by a simple operation in improved selectivity for functional group economically advantageously, by treating an OH-containing compound with an aluminizing agent to give an aluminum alkoxide, reacting it with a phosphorylating agent. CONSTITUTION:An OH-containing compound (e.g., nucleoside, its derivative, etc.) is treated with an aluminizing agent {e.g., a combination of a compound shown by the formula Al]N(R<1>)2]3 (R<1> is H, or 1-5C alkyl) and a compound shown by the formula ArOH[Ar is (substituted)aryl, etc.} to give an aluminum alkoxide, which is reacted with a phosphorylating agent [e.g, (C2H5O)2POCl, etc.]. USE:Useful as a method for synthesizing nucleotide, a phosphoic acid compound of a ligand of catalyst, etc.
