PURPOSE:A dryflower included in a glass bottle which is prepared by letting a natural plant into the glass bottle, filling the bottle with a solvent and drying the flower under reduced pressure after the solvent is removed, thus resulting in little contraction, retention of petals thickness, no changes in color and shapes enough to be admired without concern about humidity and dusts. CONSTITUTION:A natural plant is placed in a glass bottle. If the plant cannot be held stably in the bottle, it may be fixed to the bottle by e.g., its stem with an adhesive. Then, the bottle is filled with a solvent or a mixture thereof with a resin. After standing for 5-20hr, the solvent is discarded and immediately the flower is dried under reduced pessure to give the objective dry flower in a tightly closed vessel. As the solvent, acetone or t-butanol, and as the resin, e.g., polyvinyl acetate or polyacrylic ester are used in concentration 0.3-3w/v% based on the solvent.
